Spring Portrait Photoshoot!

This Spring, Starfish Studios introduced its first all day photoshoot.  The 8 hour shoot was broken up into mini-sessions for 10 different families. The theme of the shoot was to celebrate the beginning of Spring, and part of that beginning is the coming of one of my favorite holidays, Easter. Easter is such a wonderful holiday, not only because of the impending change in weather, but because it symbolizes new growth and rebirth for all. Yes, the bunnies and chicks and chocolates are all great, but first and foremost, this season of rebirth stems from the death and resurrection of Jesus. 

In a world like the one we live in today, especially with the economy the way it is, it can be easy to lose sight of the most important thing of all. 

During this season, Jesus was sacrificed for all of us so that we may have eternal life. The miracle, of course, was that three days after he was crucified, he rose from the dead, as a symbol that God has given us eternal life in Him. 

What's better than that?

During this season of remembrance, I encourage each of you to remember the unconditional love that God gives us all. Whatever tough times are upon you now~and many of us have them~ remember that all things are possible through Him. If He can send His only son to die on a cross, and then raise Him from the dead, 

think of what He can do in our lives!
