Michelle & Paul are engaged!

Michelle & Paul are perfect together.

They have such a great love and understanding in their relationship, but the thing that impressed me the most about this couple was that they have made God the center of their relationship. It was very refreshing to photograph a couple like Michelle & Paul, who are so in love, both with each other, and with God. What a wonderful way to start a marriage! In my personal observations, I find over and over again that the marriages who center around God are by far more successful that the ones who don't.

I had a great time meeting this sweet couple, and their precious little girl. One of my favorite shots is of their daughter looking for shark's teeth. She was so focused that she didn't see me capture her sweet little profile. Love that!

Enjoy, and I am looking forward to the wedding!

Jessica & James

Jessica & James.....

My favorites from their almost-trash-the-dress session in one of my very favorite locations to shoot in. I love the yummy warm light and all the warm tones of the wheat field.

Enjoy~

Aronson Trashed Her Dress!

A few weeks ago I had the joy of shooting the most lovely Aronson, who wanted to trash her wedding dress. Aronson has been married for 7 years to a wonderful man, and has twin daughters who keep her on her toes. However, before the husband and kids, when Aronson was a young 20-something, she was engaged to *ahem* someone else. The wedding to that *other* guy never happened, BUT, she still had the dress! What fun we had taking photos of her in the dress down in Jacksonville beach! Aronson, you certainly have an inner diva that I thoroughly enjoyed capturing! I wish I could fit into ANY of my clothes from my early 20's. Rock on, sista!

PUG Night shoot

So I am a tiny bit embarrassed to admit that I have put my non-critical editing on the back burner. These shots are from a Pictage User Group meeting that I attended in, *ahem*, January. Yes, it is now mid-March, and I have just now finished editing them and am finally posting them. Let's face it, though. My clients come first. This was an extra-curricular photography shoot with about 20 fellow Jacksonville photographers. I have had to prioritize my clients (and my kids) over this shoot, but I finally found a bit of spare time, so here they are! This shoot, which was organized by fellow local photographer Scarlett Lillian, was focused on night shooting. We shot in beautiful San Marco on a cold, foggy January night. Our models were Cassandra Cherneski, who owns a wedding planning business called Flaire Weddings, and her sweet husband, John. They were awesome models, and they made it a fun and easy shoot!

Here are some of my favorites of the night....

Jessica & James are married!

Jessica & James were married recently at DeerCreek Country Club. It was a beautiful outdoor ceremony just before sunset, and just a little chilly! : )

The colors for the wedding were black & white, and the color combo gave the whole event a very classic, elegant feel. Jessica & James were a pleasure to work with, and it was awesome to see two people so deeply in love with one another.
You two are an inspiration!

Here are some of my favorites from the evening~

Sarah & Barclay are married!

Sarah & Barclay were married at beautiful St. Paul's Catholic church in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. I shot the ceremony, which was beautiful with the bridesmaids in hot pink. Sarah & Barclay are obviously perfect for each other, and I wish them a lifetime of love & happiness!
